My Super Hero
Character: William, Employees, Norma
Place: Brussels
Conflict: William is a person who has a great sense of humor. He has a great power to communicate people. But somehow we can’t please everybody to believe in him.
My Super hero

In the city of Brussels Belgium, there is a man who was 22 years old name William. He is tall dark and handsome. A good looking guy who is loving, sweet, family oriented, God fearing, responsible and hard working. He is a brave man he always cared for other people, at his early age of 22 he became a president of the labor union in the company where he is working for five years. Luckily even he is young and no experience yet to lead people he has a capacity to fight for his people. Some people told him that he is not worthy for his position. But for me despite the fact that he is very young I still believe him that he could fight for us. People in TELEFUNKEN COMPANY need help from a brave person like William because sooner or later people will lose their job because of self-centered people. Norma the incumbent president of the union was appealing to us to be part again in our association and lead us instead of William because she insisting that she is more capable than William to lead us. Some people are in favor of Norma but the majority of employees are in favor to William.
Before the schedule of the meeting between the management and employees union to be lead by William, the incumbent president and William the newly elected president have a comprontation.
William, how could you depend us from the management? What all I know you’re nothing, no experience, lack of knowledge when it comes to law and rights of every individuals. If I were you I going to pass it on the other people who is well trained and knowledgeable to that certain position.
And William response to Norma by this words.. How could you know if I am capable to my position if you’re not going to give me a chance to prove it. My people need a leader with clean intentions and not after the money..Sooner or later you will see what I can. Mark my words! I will depend my people their right, their money, and their job as well. Even you’re rights!.
An explicit employment contract negotiated by a labor union and employers who employ the union members. Collective bargaining agreements are typically renegotiated periodically. William and the management begun to negotiate regarding the employees wanted to receive from the management and this the time for William to prove his power to won the fight between the management and their people.
After the negotiation has been done, people are excited about the result of the said negotiation if William did his best to win the fight. And this is it! William now opening the door where the meeting is being held, the negotiation is finished William is coming! Said the one employee…we won? We won? He said. William answered him the big YES..
Let’s celebrate we still have a job, we won! I did it! William said..
I am very happy and proud to say that he is my hero, he also a hero of my co employee. He prove his power of communicating people, his power to fight for the sake of other, thank you William said Norma. You’re my hero too. Now I know you are a good leader! Having experience is not the basis to prove that you are a leader, William replied to Norma “Leadership is a quality hidden in the personality of a human being. Human personality is very complex and it is very difficult to grade individuals according to one’s personality. Leadership, on the other hand, depends on the organic structure of the personality which includes experience, skill, responsibility, intelligence, power of organizing people and social interaction. Leadership is an indispensable activity, which every leader has tap perform for directing the people, working under him. It is the ability of the Leader to induce subordinates to work with confidence and zeal. In other words "Leadership is the process by which a leader imaginatively directs guides and influences the work of others in choosing and attaining specified goals by mediating between the individuals and the organization in such as manner, that both will obtain maximum satisfaction”. “Welcome again to the association Norma.
